Sundays in the West Downland Benefice

Our Services

We worship as a benefice in all our parishes across the month in a variety of styles and traditions. Everyone is welcome to all our services, whatever age!
Usually, the 9am is a said service of either or Morning Prayer or Holy Communion (often in Traditional Language). At 10:30 you will find Morning Praise, Holy Communion or Café Church (an all age service on the 3rd Sunday in Great Shefford). These services will usually be in contemporary language and include music and provision for children and families.
At the 4pm service in St James’s Church on the 1st Sunday, you will find an informal service or prayer and praise. Look at the What’s On page for services and events on other Sundays.
